How To Reach Goa
By Air: The Dabolim Airport in Goa is used for both domestic and international travel. All domestic flights into Goa from major Indian cities, including Mumbai, Pune, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Lucknow, Kolkata, and Indore, arrive at Terminal 1. Regular flights are offered by all Indian carriers to Goa. You can schedule a pick-up or rent a cab as you exit the airport to go to your destination. Panaji is about 26 km away from the airport.
By Train: Goa has two major railway stations: Madgaon and Vasco-da-Gama. You can take the Goa Express from New Delhi to Vasco-da-Gama and the Matsyagandha Express or Konkan Kanya Express from Mumbai, both of which will drop you off at Madgaon. Goa has good rail connections to other parts of the nation. You’ll go through some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Western Ghats on this tranquil path.
By Road: You can reach Goa via two important roadways. You must take the NH 4 if you’re traveling from Bengaluru or Mumbai to Goa. Because it is wide and well-maintained, it is the most popular route into Goa. The quickest route from Mangalore is the NH 17. It’s a beautiful drive to Goa, especially in the monsoon season. Buses from Bengaluru, Pune, and Mumbai can also be taken. Regular bus services to Goa are provided by the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) and the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC).
